AMARNATH YATRA 2020 CANCELLED AMID COVID-19

Amaranth Yatra will not take place in 2020 because of Coronavirus pandemic. It is the second time in a consecutive year that the pilgrimages are not allowed to see their Lord Rudra . Last time it was because of the abortion of Article 370. The Yatra was cancelled in between the mid. This year as none of the public gatherings are allowed by the government to control the COVID-19 pandemic, it was necessary to stop this too.

 

Based upon the circumstances, the Board decided with heavy heart that it is not advisable to hold and conduct this year’s Shri Amarnathji Yatra and expressed its regret to announce the cancellation of Yatra 2020,” the Amarnath Shrine Board said in a statement.

The devotees are unhappy but understanding the consequences of going out so corporation is been done by both the ends. Thus, Amarnath Shrine board has said that this year, live broadcast of Arti will take place so that everyone can have darsan.

“The Board is aware of and respects the sentiments of millions of devotees and to keep the religious sentiments alive, the Board shall continue the Live Telecast/ Virtual Darshan of the morning and evening Aarti. Further, the traditional rituals shall be carried out as per past practice,”

The decision was taken at the 39th board meeting of Shri Amarnath Shrine Board, attended by the lieutenant governor Girish Chandra Murmu as its chairman and other board members.

The board discussed the Supreme Court order dated 13.07.2020, which left the decision to conduct the Yatra to the administration after assessing the ground realities prevailing in Jammu & Kashmir.

Last year, the Amarnath Yatra was curtailed following intelligence inputs of terror threats and violence ahead of BJP led central government’s move of abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir and in 2018, the pilgrimage was held for 60 days.

The Amarnath cave is considered to be one of the holiest shrines in Hinduism and hundreds of thousands of devotees undertake the arduous annual pilgrimage in south Kashmir Himalayas.

IBPS RRB 2020 Admit Card Out: Download here

 Institute of Banking Personnel Selection(IBPS) has released the Online Preliminary Examination Call Letter for the IBPS RRB 2020 for Officers Scale I. The day before yesterday IBPS has released the notice of postponement of the IBPS RRB 2020 exam but now they have decided to hold the exam as scheduled i.e 12.09.2020 and 13.09.2020 as scheduled earlier as per IBPS notification dated 10.08.2020.

IBPS has released the admit card for IBPS RRB 2020 Officers Scale I only. Whereas the Exam dates for the Online Preliminary examination for the post of Office Assistants are 19.09.2020, 20.09.2020, and 26.09.2020.

For the IBPS RRB 2020 Online Preliminary as well as Online Main Examination follow the below instruction:

(1) Candidates should have a Valid Call Letter for the respective date and session of Examination.
(2) Photo-identity proof may include a such as PAN Card/ Passport/ Permanent Driving License/ Voter’s Card/ Bank Passbook with photograph/ Photo
identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer/ People’s Representative along with a photograph/identity card issued by a recognized college/ university/ Aadhar/ E-Aadhar card with a photograph/ Employee ID should be submitted to the invigilator for verification along with a photocopy of the same and in original bearing the same name as it appears on the call letter/application form.

  • Ration Card and Learner’s Driving License will not be accepted as valid id proof for this
    project.
  • In case of candidates who have changed their name, they will be allowed only if they
    produce original Gazette notification / their original marriage certificate/affidavit in
    original.

(3) Photocopy of photo-identity proof (as mentioned in (2) above)

Candidates reporting late i.e. after the reporting time specified on the call letter for Examination will not be permitted to take the examination.

Social Distancing Mode conduct of IBPS RRB 2020 Exam Related Instructions

  1. The candidate is required to report at the exam venue strictly as per the time slot mentioned in the admit card and he/she should report at least 15 minutes before the reporting time indicated on the Call Letter.
  2. Mapping of ‘Candidate Roll Number and the Lab Number’ will NOT be displayed outside the exam venue, but that will be intimated to the candidates individually at the time of the entry of the candidate to the exam venue and post their Admit Card/ Call Letter and ID verification.
  3. Items permitted into the venue for Candidates
    Candidates will be permitted to carry only certain items with them into the venue.            a)Mask (WEARING A MASK is COMPULSORY)
    b) Gloves
    c) Personal transparent water bottle.                                                                              d)Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml)
    e) A simple pen
    f) Exam related documents (Call Letter/Admit Card, ID card in Original, Photocopy of ID Card, etc)
    g) Call Letter/Admit Card should be brought with the Photocopy of the Photo ID stapled with it.
    h)Original ID (same as Photocopy) is also to be brought for verification. The name on the ID and on the Call Letter/Admit Card should be the same.
    i) In the case of Scribe Candidates – Scribe form duly filled and signed with Photograph affixed.
    No other items apart from the mentioned as above are permitted inside the venue.
    j) Candidate should maintain a safe social distance with one another.                                       k) A Candidate must have Aarogya Setu App installed on his mobile phone. The Aarogya Setu status must show the candidate’s risk factor.
  4. Candidate registration:
    a. Candidate registration will be done through photo capture.
    b. The photograph will be taken while the candidate is standing.
    c. A seat number will be allotted to the candidate.
  5. All candidates will be checked with Thermo guns at the entry point for temperature. In case, any person is observed to be having above-normal temperature (> 99.14° F) or displaying any symptoms of the virus, they will not be allowed entry into the venue.

IBPS RRB IX 2020 Exam Postponed Till Further Notice

IBPS RRB IX 2020 exam has been delayed.  Institute of Banking Personnel Selection(IBPS) has released the official notification regarding the postponement of the IBPS RRB IX 2020 exam which was going to be held on 12.09.2020 and 13.09.2020.

Previously on 10 August, 2020 IBPS has released the tentative date for IBPS RRB IX 2020 Preliminary Examination: Officer Scale I and Office Assistants:12.09.2020,13.09.2020,19.09.2020,
20.09.2020 and 26.09.2020

and Single Examination of Officers Scale II & III: 18.10.2020

Main Examination of Officer Scale I:18.10.2020 Office Assistants: 31.10.2020

Now they have postponed the exam which was going to be held on 12.09.2020 and 13.09.2020 till further notice.

Defence Minister signed Rs. 2580 cr contract to procure Pinaka Rocket Launcher

Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh on Monday signed Rs. 2580 crore deal to procure Pinaka Rocket Launcher through which he gave Atmanirbhar Bharat a boost and is being planned to be operationalised by 2024.

The acquisition wing of Ministry of Defence has signed the contract with the Bharat Earth Movers Ltd(BEML), Tata Power Company Ltd(TPCL) and Larsen & Toubro(L&T) for the supply of 6 Pinaka rocket launchers for six Army regiments. In this deal, they have also asked for use of at least 70 per cent indigenous items.

The deal was approved by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

The Bharat Earth Movers Ltd(BEML), will supply the (330)vehicles on which the rocket launchers will mount. The six Pinaka regiments include 114 launchers with Automated Gun Aiming and Positioning System (AGAPS) and 45 command posts.

“This is a flagship project showcasing public-private partnership under the aegis of government of India (DRDO & MoD) enabling ‘Aatmanirbharta’ in cutting edge defence technologies,” the ministry said.

Pinaka Rocket is a multiple rocket launcher which is produced in India and developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) for the Indian Army. This Rocket Launcher also is known as a multi-barrel rocket system (MBRL) system, can fire a salvo of 12 rockets over a period of 44 seconds.
