National Recruitment Agency(NRA) will conduct the Common Eligibility Test(CET) that will help to shortlist candidates for the Group B and C (non-technical) posts. It’s a multi-agency body to cover the prelims test by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) and the Institute of Banking Service Personnel (IBPS).

National Recruitment Agency: What it means

Applicants who qualify this Common Entrance Test (CET) can apply to any recruitment agencies for a mains exam/higher level of examination. As there were used to multiple examinations for the different post which creates a burden on the candidates and also they face venue related issues. On average, 2.5 crores to 3 crore applicants appear in each of these examinations. A CET would enable these candidates to appear once and apply to any or all of these recruitment agencies for the higher level of examination.
