6 years of successful implementation of Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana
Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi announced Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana(PMJDY) on Independence Day address on 15th August 2014 and launched the program on 28th August 2014, where the Prime Minister had called the occasion as a festival to celebrate the liberation of the poor from a vicious cycle.
Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana(PMJDY) envisions universal access to banking facilities in which there should be one banking account for every household, financial literacy, access to credit, insurance and pension. Under PMJDY a basic savings bank deposit (BSBD) account with no requirement to maintain any minimum balance can be opened in any bank branch by persons who don’t have any other account.

What Benefits one gets under Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana(PMJDY)
- One basic savings bank account is opened for a person who doesn’t have any other account.
- There is no requirement to maintain any minimum balance in PMJDY accounts.
- You will earn interest on the deposit.
- The account holder will get Rupay Card
- Accident Insurance Cover of Rs.1 lakh (enhanced to Rs. 2 lakh to new PMJDY accounts opened after 28.8.2018) is available with RuPay card issued to the PMJDY account holders.
- Life Insurance Cover of Rs. 30,000 to eligible PMJDY account holders who opened their account for the first time between 15.8.2014 to 31.1.2015 is available.
- There is an overdraft (OD) facility up to Rs. 10,000 to eligible account holders.
- This account is eligible for Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), Atal Pension Yojana (APY), Micro Units Development & Refinance Agency Bank (MUDRA) scheme.

IBPS PO 2024 Admit card out: Download Now
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection(IBPS) has released the Online Preliminary Examination Call Letter for the IBPS PO 2024 on 23 September 2024. The Online Preliminary Examination is scheduled to be conducted on the following dates: 3rd October, 10th, and 11th October.

Online Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks. This test would be of 1 hour in which you will get 3 Sections with sectional timing as follows :

The candidates shall be required to qualify in each test as per cut-off marks determined in each test. Each candidate will have to secure a minimum score on each of the tests as well as on the Total to be considered to be shortlisted for Main Examination. Depending on the number of vacancies available, cutoffs will be decided and candidates will be shortlisted for Main Examination. However the decision of IBPS in this regard shall be final and binding upon the candidates.
There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked by you. For every wrong answer marked by you, 1/4 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
For the IBPS PO 2020 Online Preliminary as well as Online Main Examination follow the below instruction:
(1) Candidates should have a Valid Call Letter for the respective date and session of Examination.
(2) Photo-identity proof may include a such as PAN Card/ Passport/ Permanent Driving License/ Voter’s Card/ Bank Passbook with photograph/ Photo
identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer/ People’s Representative along with a photograph/identity card issued by a recognized college/ university/ Aadhar/ E-Aadhar card with a photograph/ Employee ID should be submitted to the invigilator for verification along with a photocopy of the same and in original bearing the same name as it appears on the call letter/application form.
- Ration Card and Learner’s Driving License will not be accepted as valid id proof for this
project. - In case of candidates who have changed their name, they will be allowed only if they
produce original Gazette notification / their original marriage certificate/affidavit in
original.
(3) Photocopy of photo-identity proof (as mentioned in (2) above)
Candidates reporting late i.e. after the reporting time specified on the call letter for Examination will not be permitted to take the examination.
Social Distancing Mode conduct of IBPS PO 2020 Exam Related Instructions
- The candidate is required to report at the exam venue strictly as per the time slot mentioned in the admit card and he/she should report at least 15 minutes before the reporting time indicated on the Call Letter.
- Mapping of ‘Candidate Roll Number and the Lab Number’ will NOT be displayed outside the exam venue, but that will be intimated to the candidates individually at the time of the entry of the candidate to the exam venue and post their Admit Card/ Call Letter and ID verification.
- Items permitted into the venue for Candidates
Candidates will be permitted to carry only certain items with them into the venue. a)Mask (WEARING A MASK is COMPULSORY)
b) Gloves
c) Personal transparent water bottle. d)Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml)
e) A simple pen
f) Exam related documents (Call Letter/Admit Card, ID card in Original, Photocopy of ID Card, etc)
g) Call Letter/Admit Card should be brought with the Photocopy of the Photo ID stapled with it.
h)Original ID (same as Photocopy) is also to be brought for verification. The name on the ID and on the Call Letter/Admit Card should be the same.
i) In the case of Scribe Candidates – Scribe form duly filled and signed with Photograph affixed.
No other items apart from the mentioned above are permitted inside the venue.
j) Candidate should maintain a safe social distance with one another. k) A Candidate must have Aarogya Setu App installed on his mobile phone. The Aarogya Setu status must show the candidate’s risk factor. - Candidate registration:
a. Candidate registration will be done through photo capture.
b. The photograph will be taken while the candidate is standing.
c. A seat number will be allotted to the candidate. - All candidates will be checked with Thermo guns at the entry point for temperature. In case, any person is observed to be having above-normal temperature (> 99.14° F) or displaying any symptoms of the virus, they will not be allowed entry into the venue.

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection(IBPS) has released the Online Preliminary Examination Call Letter for the IBPS RRB 2020 for Officers Scale I. The day before yesterday IBPS has released the notice of postponement of the IBPS RRB 2020 exam but now they have decided to hold the exam as scheduled i.e 12.09.2020 and 13.09.2020 as scheduled earlier as per IBPS notification dated 10.08.2020.
IBPS has released the admit card for IBPS RRB 2020 Officers Scale I only. Whereas the Exam dates for the Online Preliminary examination for the post of Office Assistants are 19.09.2020, 20.09.2020, and 26.09.2020.

IBPS RRB IX 2020 Exam Postponed Till Further Notice
IBPS RRB IX 2020 exam has been delayed. Institute of Banking Personnel Selection(IBPS) has released the official notification regarding the postponement of the IBPS RRB IX 2020 exam which was going to be held on 12.09.2020 and 13.09.2020.
Previously on 10 August, 2020 IBPS has released the tentative date for IBPS RRB IX 2020 Preliminary Examination: Officer Scale I and Office Assistants:12.09.2020,13.09.2020,19.09.2020,
20.09.2020 and 26.09.2020
and Single Examination of Officers Scale II & III: 18.10.2020
Main Examination of Officer Scale I:18.10.2020 Office Assistants: 31.10.2020
Now they have postponed the exam which was going to be held on 12.09.2020 and 13.09.2020 till further notice.
